Annual Meeting of the Missouri Valley Branch
of the American Society for Microbiology
March 10-11, 2023
at Kansas State University
The Missouri Valley branch of the American Society for Microbiology invite area students and scientists working in academia, industry, and clinical microbiology to submit abstracts for presentation at the annual, branch meeting to be held in person on March 10-11, 2023 in Manhattan, KS at Kansas State University. The meeting will feature a lecture by ASM Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Miriam Braunstein from the University of North Carolina School of medicine. She will be presenting: The Bacterial Protein Zoo. There will also be presentations by students, faculty, post-doctoral researchers, industry researchers, and clinical professionals from the region. The meeting is a great venue for undergraduate and graduate student researchers to gain experience presenting their research, and awards will be given to the top student presenters. We will be offering opportunities both oral presentations and poster presentations. Meeting information is available below. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Lisa Rucks. Abstract Submission for Presentations: Due by February 24, 2023.
Student awards will be presented for outstanding presentations and posters for every category. It is appreciated if faculty, professionals, and post-docs will be willing to judge the competition. Information can be found on the registration link.

Registration Options: (Note you should register even if no payment is needed.) In person registration will be $50 faculty, $15 post docs and graduate students, and $5 undergraduates. The $15 branch membership is required for all faculty and professionals.
