at Oklahoma State University
The Missouri Valley branch of the American Society for Microbiology invite area students and scientists working in academia, industry, and clinical microbiology to submit abstracts for presentation at the annual, branch meeting to be held in person and virtually on March 18-19, 2022 in Stillwater, OK at Oklahoma State University. The meeting will feature a lecture by ASM Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Kim Orth from UT Southwestern Medical Center and presentations by students, faculty, post-doctoral researchers, industry researchers, and clinical professionals from the region. The meeting is a great venue for undergraduate and graduate student researchers to gain experience presenting their research, and awards will be given to the top student presenters. We will be offering an in person and online opportunity for oral presentations and an in person opportunity for poster presentations. In lieu of an online poster presentation this year, we are offering a session of 5 minute Flash Talks. Students can use their posters as a guide and talk viewers through their projects. This will be in real time, but available online to watch. Meeting information is available below.
